Transport

Watch Andy Jacob, President of Rural and Livestock Transport Association guide us through the transport stage of the supply chain.

Australia’s sheep farms are often both large and remote, so transport is required overland to saleyards, feedlots and other sale hubs. Australia’s trucking industry is one of the most highly regulated in the world and our drivers often come from farming backgrounds - so have a lifetime of experience handling and looking after our animals.

Our drivers are a critical component to The Sheep Collective. They ensure the health and welfare of our sheep and take the responsibility of ensuring animals’ safe arrival to their destination seriously.

We only load healthy animals, and they are boarded and transported with care. Further, we constantly review our transport systems and processes to improve and refine our methods.
